Every migration starts with a field-mapping document: each field in the source system mapped to its destination, with transformation rules written down for anything that does not map one-to-one. Nothing moves until you have signed off the mapping.

Data hygiene is half the job. Duplicates are merged, dead records flagged, phone numbers normalised to UAE formats, and inconsistent picklist values consolidated before they pollute the new system. Activity history — emails, calls, notes, completed tasks — and record ownership are preserved, so a salesperson in your Sharjah office opens a migrated account and still sees three years of conversation context under their own name.

Cutover is staged, not big-bang: a trial migration into a sandbox or test environment first, a parallel-running window where both systems stay live, then the final delta sync. After cutover I deliver validation counts — records per object in source versus destination — so free-zone and mainland SMEs alike get documented proof that nothing was dropped, with deal values reconciled in AED.
